Just got my Rotatrix a few days ago and am loving it so far, it’s a pleasure to use and the user experience has been super smooth, the configuration and profile software is great!
I’ve been using it for personal projects in Onshape and would love to be able to use it at work where we use Creo Parametric.
Hoping support for Creo can be added at some point in the future! Happy to wait as I know it’s mostly a one man operation.
I am so glad you mentioned Creo! I am in a similar situation, using Creo for work, and just got my Rotatrix working a couple of days ago. Have you experimented with key bindings or any templates to get Rotatrix 3D to work in your Creo environment?
My current setup is a Spacemouse, left-hand setup, and I’m trying to get Rotatrix working in the same way. I just saw the 1.6 software update, and it seems promising for always-on, left-hand, 3D navigation.
I’m curious if anyone has been able to make that work yet.
I’ve reached out to PTC to request Creo development access so I can work on a native Rotatrix integration. Will share more once I know what’s possible.
@b_kitko - FYI, full 3D control for each app requires some integration code (basically a plugin for Creo) rather than just configuration.
